The process, which took almost 1 year, adds to a series of specializations that the holding has obtained in order to continue improving their work processes in each of their lines of business.

C2 Mining Solutions, a COASIN group firm dedicated to providing technological solutions for the most important mining companies in Chile and abroad, certified their Quality Management System under ISO 9001:2008; their Environmental Management System under ISO 14001: 2004 and their Occupational Safety and Health System under OHSAS 18001:2007.

Thanks to these certifications, “the company will have a complete management system that not only enables them to reach a privileged position in the business world; it also upholds them as an industry example, where best practice applications are no longer an aspiration, they are the norm,” explained Jaime Philp, C2 Mining Solutions Engineering and Installation Manager.

Using an Integral Management system facilitates the development and design of a service model, guaranteeing that the relationship among all processes is completely natural, enabling the optimization of all service related process and incorporating the balance necessary to duly oversee that the work environment ensures people’s physical and logical safety.

For the rest of this year, C2 Mining Solutions’ challenge is to consolidate all their operational systems to achieve customer management system standardization “to mainly extend the range of the company’s action to their foreign branches” pointed out Philp.
